BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced the 2025 All-American Teams on Tuesday, and NSU's
Sofia Suarez was named a First Team All-American. This honor comes on the heels of being named to the D2CCA All-South Region First Team on November 25.
Suarez was named an All-American after totaling 13 goals, five assists and 31 points on the season, and she scored the lone goal in the Sharks' 1-0 victory over Montevallo in the NCAA Second Round. The senior had previously been named the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Year and made the All-SSC First Team back on November 13. This All-American nod caps a memorable season for the Miami Lakes, Florida native, who adds yet another award to the trophy case.
